Why I Started DonCox.ca

For more than 30 years, I've been fascinated by business, marketing, psychology, and human potential.

I started my first business at the age of 25 when I purchased a struggling variety store and doubled its profits within one year. At the same time, I was working part-time as an occasional teacher and selling encyclopedias door to door, becoming one of the company's top salespeople in less than three months.

Those experiences taught me something that has stayed with me throughout my life:

Over the years I continued studying business, psychology, education, and personal growth. I earned honours in three university degrees and built a deeper understanding of human behaviour, motivation, communication, and learning.

Technology has changed dramatically over those three decades.

The principles that move people, build trust, and create successful businesses have not.

A once-in-a-generation shift

Today we are living through one of the most significant technological shifts in history. Artificial intelligence and automation are giving entrepreneurs capabilities that once required large teams and substantial budgets.

But technology alone is not enough.

Many entrepreneurs feel overwhelmed by information, tools, and endless tactics. They don't need more complexity. They need clarity. They need systems. They need someone who understands both business fundamentals and modern technology.

That is why I created DonCox.ca.

My mission is simple:

To help coaches, consultants, experts, and entrepreneurs build smarter businesses through strategy, AI, automation, and proven marketing principles.

I believe businesses should support the life you want to live rather than consume it.

I believe it's never too late to learn new skills, reinvent yourself, and build something meaningful.

And I believe some of the most valuable lessons in business and life come not only from success, but also from challenge, resilience, and starting again.
